Inspired by their exposure to the family business, as years went by, twin brothers Karl and Mark Matar stepped into leadership to carry forward the torch and steer the company into a new era. Their goal was to reposition and elevate the brand, thereby introducing the new name HiSO (short for Hide Society). Grounded in the belief that a coat should offer fashion and function, HiSO’s mission was to revive the classic shearling coat and redefine outerwear. Their vision fueled elevated designs and HiSO very quickly became a trusted pioneer in the contemporary luxe space.

With the desire to broaden its product offering, the rebranding also led to expansion into the world of wools. HiSO acquired a Toronto based facility where all precious fiber outerwear is now produced.
