A closer look at the sustainable materials we use and how we care for them:

SHEARLING
Using only the world’s most reputable tanners, and the newest tanning technology - the hides that are used are sourced solely as a by-product of the food industry. The crimp of the sheep’s wool creates insulating air spaces, allowing the shearling to naturally retain body heat while still providing breathability; keeping your body temperature regulated regardless of the fluctuations in the environment. 

Care
It is not recommended to dry clean your shearling garments, as the treatment can dry out the skin and cause discolouration. In most cases, small soil marks on shearling can be cleaned by gently brushing the area with a clean, damp cloth. 

In emergency circumstances you, we recommend taking your garment to a fur and sheepskin specialty cleaner.

ALPACA & WOOL
Ranking higher in sustainability than that of traditional sheep wool, alpaca fibre is rapidly becoming one of the world’s most renowned sustainable fibres. Alpaca is typically softer and stronger than cashmere and merino wool, and boasts the largest range of natural colours. 

Care
Your wool garment can be cleaned using cold water with a gentle detergent. If spills occur, avoid rubbing the area with a towel, as it can cause felting. Instead, blot dry the affected area, or hang to dry. For further cleaning, we recommend specialist dry cleaning.
